IABM announces creative collaboration award

IABM has announced a major new award that will be presented at its Annual International Business Conference awards ceremony on the evening of 30 November 2017. The IABM Creative Collaboration Award celebrates ground-breaking innovations that have been realised through creative collaboration between technology suppliers and their customers.

This new award is yet another initiative in the Association’s drive to bring the interests of technology vendors and their broadcast and media customers ever closer together. It seeks to recognize break-through solutions resulting from close partnership between technology supplier(s) and their customer that provide measurable commercial or creative benefits to the customer.

Nominations are also now open for IABM’s established Young Person of the Year and Excellence in Sustainability Awards, which are also presented at the Annual Conference.

“The rapid transformation of both technology and business models in the broadcast and media industry means that suppliers and users of technology must collaborate ever more closely to keep ahead of the fast-changing landscape and continue to succeed,” said Peter White, IABM CEO. “Our new Creative Collaboration Award, which will be presented at our thought-leading Annual Business Conference, was conceived in recognition of this growing need for partnership, which will increasingly drive innovation in broadcast and media. This new award is just part of a wider range of initiatives by IABM to bring suppliers and users of broadcast and media technology together – which include opening up the first day of our conference to senior broadcast and media company executives to give them a great platform to continue the conversation with technology vendors.”
